Faculty Listings

Many of the tutors listed on this website are also faculty members at the various South Florida colleges and universities of BCC, FAU, FIU, and Nova Southeastern.

If you are a faculty member at a South Florida college campus wishing to become a listed tutor, this website is here to help you advertise your non-commercial tutoring services to students; free of charge.  As a reminder, most faculty members advertise their tutoring services in the same manner as other tutors; that is, they have their "approved" tutoring flyers posted on the designated tutoring bulletin boards and/or have their name included on a department list or university-sponsored website of some sort.  When we see the approved flyer and/or visit the website, we add the faculty member to OUR website bulletin board list as well.

As with all tutors, we make no attempt to contact faculty members directly to qualify (or disqualify) them from having their tutoring services listed on this website.  You will automatically have your services listed once we notice your "approved" tutoring flyers posted on the designated tutoring bulletin boards.

If your "approved" flyer has been posted for quite some time and you STILL don't see your name listed on this website, you can submit your listing to us by E- mail.  To do so... you will need to attach... 1.) A copy of your "approved" tutoring flyer; dated with an ORIGINAL Student Activities stamp... and 2.)  A copy of your "Application to Become an Approved Tutor;" signed by your department head.  (This is the document you must have on file with the Student Activities office in order to become an "approved" tutor at most universities.)   When you have these two documents scanned and saved to your computer, send an E-mail together with these two attachments to: email (at no spam) bcctutors.com, (replace (at no spam) with @) indicating your intentions to become a listed tutor.  In your E-mail, please be sure to include your complete name and address, your telephone number, your course/specialty, and a brief description of your tutoring services.  Once we receive your request, we will contact you by telephone to confirm your free tutoring listing.  SO BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER.  E-mail requests without a telephone number cannot be processed.

To Purchase A Sponsored Listing...

If you wish to avoid the time and hassle of becoming an "approved tutor" and wish to get listed right away, consider purchasing a "Sponsored Listing" and have your tutoring services highlighted at (or near) the top of the list within a given category.  History has shown that students seeking a tutor will usually call only the first few names on the top of the list... And tutors who purchase a Sponsored Listing are the tutors who usually get called first.  Rates are $100 per calendar year quarter (or any part thereof), per listing, and only one Sponsored Listing is allowed per category.  To obtain a Sponsored Listing in any currently available category, please send an E-mail to: email (at no spam) bcctutors.com (replace (at no spam) with @) indicating your intentions to become a sponsored tutor along with a brief description of how you would like your listing to read.  Once we approve your listing, we will send you an E-mail reply with instructions on how to pay for your listing using PayPal.  As a reminder, your ad should confirm to the following format below...

As a suggestion, please review the website listings under your desired section to get an idea on how to draft your ad.  Also note that tutoring fees are not permitted to appear in your ad as per bcctutors.com policy and only one Sponsored Listing is allowed per category.  Please also note that we reserve the right to edit/reject any ad.

If you are a listed faculty member tutor and desire to have your name removed from our website list, please send an E-mail to: email (at no spam) bcctutors.com, (replace (at no spam) with @) including your name and telephone number so that we can contact you by telephone to confirm your request.   PLEASE BE SURE THAT THE PHONE NUMBER YOU PROVIDE IN YOUR E-MAIL IS THE SAME AS THE PHONE NUMBER AS LISTED ON THIS WEBSITE.  This way, we can be sure that someone else may not be inappropriately attempting to delete your listing.
