Before searching for a tutor, please read this Important Message:

Most colleges and universities have designated bulletin boards where students can look to find a tutor.  Quite often however, tutoring flyers are prematurely removed from these bulletin boards by inconsiderate students who would rather remove the entire flyer to obtain the tutors phone number rather than simply writing down the phone number as listed on the flyer.  As a result, students who need a tutor often can’t find one… and tutors who have had their flyers removed don’t get called.  Students eventually give up, tutors give up, and nobody wins.

In response to this ongoing problem, bcctutors.com was created.  Think of this website as a PERMANENT TUTORING BULLETIN BOARD where no student will be able to remove an "approved" tutoring flyer and thus prevent other students from finding a tutor.  Our list of South Florida tutors is updated daily so any time you need to find a tutor, this website is usually the best place to look.  So...

This website is free to both students and tutors.  All tutors listed on this website become listed by having their "approved" (stamped) tutoring flyers posted on designated tutoring bulletin boards at a Broward college campus during the school year.  Accordingly, a routine policing of the tutoring bulletin boards at the South Florida Davie campuses of BCC, FAU, and FIU is where we get the names of the tutors listed on this website.  As this website is merely an electronic bulletin board, WE MAKE NO ENDORSEMENT OF THE SERVICES OFFERED OR THE CREDIBILITY OF THE TUTOR.  We are simply posting an electronic version of their "approved" tutoring flyer here as well; where it will stay... for the duration of the school year.

This website serves several colleges, universities, and campuses within the South Florida Davie/Ft. Lauderdale area and is NOT affiliated with any particular university.  So...

Students… If you like a particular tutor, then tell your friends, classmates, and instructors.  "Word of Mouth" is the best advertisement for any tutor.  If you don’t like a particular tutor, then FIND ANOTHER.  As mentioned, we make no endorsement, warranties, or guarantees whatsoever about any tutor or tutoring service listed on this website.  All we can say about a listed tutor is that at one time or another, his or her "approved" tutoring flyer was posted on a designated tutoring bulletin board.  Good tutors will usually develop a good reputation and keep on posting their "approved" flyers semester after semester and thus remain listed on our website.  Other tutors will often give up tutoring and fail to post new flyers once the new semester comes around.  Accordingly, they will eventually become deleted from our list.

Tutors… If you want your services listed on this website, then follow the specific instructions of your department and/or Student Activities office on how to become an "Approved Tutor." Once your "approved" (stamped) flyers are posted, we will (hopefully) see them, and you will become listed.  Tutoring flyers not "approved" (stamped) by Student Activities will not be listed on this website.  Tutors may also purchase a "Sponsored Listing."  For more information on obtaining a sponsored listing, CLICK HERE.
